I Gusti Ngurah Suryawan
Role: Founder & Chief Experience Officer
Credentials: B.A. Hospitality Management (Les Roches, Switzerland), Certified Member of ASITA (Association of the Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies), 20+ years in Indonesian luxury hospitality.
Bio: Born into a respected Balinese family from Ubud, Gusti possesses an innate understanding of the island’s cultural and spiritual nuances. After a distinguished career managing some of Indonesia’s most iconic luxury resorts, he founded Balispiritualretreat Guide under Juara Holding Group to share the authentic Bali he knows and loves. Gusti personally vets our network of high-level spiritual practitioners and ensures every itinerary maintains cultural integrity and respect.
Isabella Chen
Role: Head of Client Relations
Credentials: Certified Travel Industry Executive (CTIE), Former Virtuoso Network Advisor, M.A. in Cross-Cultural Communication.
Bio: With over 15 years of experience curating bespoke travel for a high-net-worth clientele across Asia, Isabella is the voice of our clients. She excels at translating individual needs and aspirations into flawlessly executed itineraries. Her background with world-class brands like Aman and Four Seasons ensures that our service standards are not just met, but exceeded, from the initial consultation to the final farewell.
Ida Bagus Adnyana
Role: Lead Cultural & Spiritual Advisor
Credentials: Descendant of a Brahmana lineage, Master of Balinese Lontar (sacred texts), Certified Yoga Acharya (RYT-500).
Bio: Ida Bagus is the guardian of our authenticity. A respected elder and scholar, he advises our team on the proper protocols for temple ceremonies, interprets ancient philosophies, and connects us with genuine, lineage-based healers (Balian). He ensures our programs are not a superficial performance of culture, but a respectful and legitimate engagement with Bali’s living spiritual traditions. His guidance is critical to our vetting methodology.
David Miller
Role: Director of Operations & Safety
Credentials: IATA Certified Professional, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Former Logistics Manager for a leading SE Asia DMC.
Bio: David is the architect of our seamless and safe operational backbone. He manages our fleet of luxury vehicles, coordinates with aviation partners like Garuda Indonesia for VIP services, and implements our rigorous safety protocols. His meticulous attention to detail ensures that every transfer, every booking, and every logistical element is executed with precision, allowing our clients to focus entirely on their spiritual journey.
Ayu Lestari
Role: Wellness & Itinerary Designer
Credentials: Certified Wellness Coach, Specialist in Indonesian Herbal Medicine (Jamu), Graduate of Trisakti School of Tourism.
Bio: Ayu masterfully weaves together the elements of each client’s journey. With a deep knowledge of Bali’s best spas, organic culinary experiences, and unique wellness modalities, she designs itineraries that nourish the body as well as the soul. Ayu is passionate about showcasing sustainable and locally-sourced experiences, from private cooking classes to workshops on traditional herbal remedies, ensuring a holistic and enriching retreat.
